If you did not finish your questions on page 31 of your informational binder, you need to complete it and the critique of the man's advice for women.
Also, you need to finish highlighting information you want to use in your paper. Then begin creating the outline, if you know how to do one. If not, we will go over one in class tomorrow.

Remember that your works cited page is due tomorrow! You will have had 3 days in the library to complete it. Let's start this nine weeks off right!
We will be in the library today and on Monday and Tuesday. This research assignment covers the following state standards: 9-10.RI.KID.1, 9-10.RI.IKI. 7, 9-10.W.TTP.1, and 9-10.W.RBPK.7-9. While most of you will use websites, the Power Point below has a step-by-step guide to writing a works cited entry. The document below that is an example works cited page from a different class. It's a new nine weeks! Hooray!
Even better news---my daughter is in after school tutoring. What does that mean for you? I can meet with you! However, because I might have other obligations or duties after school, I still expect you to notify me within 24 hours. I can meet you in the library for tutoring, and you don't have to worry about my being late because of my child. Win-win! I will be available Monday through Thursday until 4:15. If you need help, again, notify me within 24 hours. For this semester's research project, you will read about a historical figure and create an informational essay. Since we have covered the "what does a good essay look like" and "how does the state grade, again?" portion of the midterm essay review, we will take a look at your CASE essay and talk about what you could have done better. I am allotting a day to the essay. On Wednesday, you will begin writing the midterm essay portion of your test. You will begin the midterm exam Part II multiple choice portion for THURSDAY OCTOBER 11.
